- scraps large enough for taco pieces (tortilla, lettuce, tomato fabrics)
- 2 12” squares white dish towel fabric or muslin
- 2 12” squares cotton batting
- 2.5 yard length of 3/4” bias strip, press in half lengthwise, if using packaged double fold ½” bias, press folds open before cutting in half lengthwise

- Size 14 topstitch needle
- 100 % cotton thread for needle and bobbin to match taco pieces, create taco char marks and cheese shreds, and quilting top and bottom
- 1/4” foot, open zig-zag foot, free motion foot or optional walking foot
- For free motion quilting: Machingers quilting gloves or Lickity Grip ® finger grip cream
- Pencil for tracing taco pieces
- Fabric & paper scissors, pins
